Patterson's Water & Plumbing is woman-owned, family-operated, and technician-driven. Three generations in, we still run the company on Norman Patterson's five values: Servanthood, Thoroughness, Integrity, Reputation, and Education.

Where it all began — Norman, 1980
Our humble beginnings
Norman Patterson was a plumber in North Jersey for years before moving his family to rural Jackson in 1974. What he found there astonished him: well water eating through pipes, staining fixtures, and wrecking appliances. One thing led to another, and in 1980 he founded Patterson's Quality Water.
His daughter Catherine joined in 2001, earned her NJ Master Plumber's License, and has been the sole owner since 2006. Under her, the company added a full plumbing division and became Patterson's Water & Plumbing — one call for everything from the well to the water heater.
Today Norman is retired, and the business is run by his daughter and grandchildren with a team of dedicated water treatment and plumbing professionals. Same name on the truck. Same values in the work.
